Synopsis
SHE LIKES DEAD PEOPLE
Sybil works in a funeral parlour with dead people. She likes dead people; she has an accord with dead people. They are her people. Sybil is quietly brilliant, creative soul. She has spent her life looking for love. Brought up as a privileged carefree child, she lost everything in a tragic accident which took away the family she adored. Life would never be the same again. A darkness fell over her as the bright lights of her life were snuffed out swiftly and cruelly. Now an emptiness, an aching loneliness prevails, a void which she seeks to fill. As a child Sybil held a fascination and affinity with nature and the more vulnerable beings surrounding her. Poetry and a vivid imagination provided an escape from the harsh realities of a lonely life, an opportunity to shine against the darkness a lifeline. But the loss of love is creating a vacuum. A dark desire that is getting more and more insatiable, and progressively out of control. Her fascination with the dead has quite naturally led her to seek work with the dead – in funeral parlours as an accomplished, professional mortician. A perfect job which suits her strange quiet temperament. For once she has found happiness and contentment with the people she keeps as company. Dead people. She prefers them that way…
